District Overview

About the District

The Glendale-River Hills School District is a unified, elementary school district serving students in four-year-old kindergarten through grade eight. The District is fiscally independent, operating under the legal authority set forth by the Constitution and Statutes of the State of Wisconsin. Governance rests with the School Board, which has five members elected for three year, overlapping terms, and consists of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Clerk, and Assistant Clerk. The fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30.

District Vision

We at the Glendale-River Hills School District believe that education is a partnership of home, school and community to prepare our young people to assume their roles as productive citizens, community members, parents and employees. Not only are we able to boast a staff and administration that continues to work diligently to provide a top notch educational program for students, but we are very fortunate to have active parent groups and community volunteers who tirelessly contribute their time and resources to enhance our programs. A supportive community of administrators, staff and parents work together to help students achieve academic excellence. 

District Governance

Governance of the District rests with a five member School Board: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Clerk, and Assistant Clerk. Educational Programming

The Glendale-River Hills School District provides excellent educational programming which addresses the intellectual, physical and emotional learning needs of our students. Our administrators and staff strive to create a challenging, diverse and stimulating school experience to help each student develop their potential to the highest level. Visiting artists, musical performances, athletic endeavors, technology experience, world languages and relevant, experiential learning activities all engage our diverse student population.
