Peggy Rodriguez, Ph.D.

I am the school psychologist for the Glendale-River Hills School District and have worked in the district for over 20 years. In August of 2017, I also became the Coordinator of Special Education. I grew up in Shorewood and now live in Waukesha. I graduated from Marquette University with a doctorate in Counseling Psychology and a specialization in School Psychology.  I have three children, one son and two daughters. My son, the oldest, Alex, began a dual residency in internal medicine/anesthesiology at Stanford University in CA in June 2019. My middle daughter, Becca, began doctoral studies in genetics at Texas A&M in August 2019. My youngest daughter, Sofia, is currently a sophomore at UW-Madison so I'm finally an empty nester.

I have worked in various districts in the Milwaukee and Waukesha areas including MPS, New Berlin, Waukesha, West Allis-West Milwaukee, before coming to the Glendale District. I taught School Psychology and Behavior Therapy at Marquette University and currently also work as a consultant at Milestone, Inc., a residential/employment center for developmentally disabled adults, in Rockford, Illinois. I enjoy working with the children, parents, and teachers in the diverse community in our district.
