ParentSquare Notification Settings Tips and Tricks

With ParentSquare even if you do not register in the app, you will still receive email notifications of what has posted. Consider how you would like to personalize your notification settings for communications this year.

If you feel like you get too many messages in too many places--app, email, or text; you may want to change your notification settings to your most preferred method.

If you feel like you don't get the right information at the right time, you may want to take your notifications off of digest and receive them as they come. Digests only email once per day at 6pm.

So for instance, today's Welcome Back communications went out at 8:00 am, if you have your settings at digest, you would not receive them until 6:00pm.

If you would like to know more information regarding the use of ParentSquare, there is a page on the website with FAQs and information.

GDRH is respectful of your time and try not to overwhelm. We streamline the times and volume of messages that go out. Not everyday, all day. As information becomes available, we schedule for you to receive them at 11am, or 1pm, or Thursday communications at 3pm. Typically, that amounts to an average of three, or so, messages from the District per week. Any urgent messages are sent as an alert that arrives instantly (Example: emergencies, bus route delays, etc).

With that in mind, please set your notifications for what works best for you and your family.
